2021 Spring Hockey Update

Hockey is back! 

Starting February 22nd, 2021 Minor Sports will be offering an eight week mini-season for all interested players!  This mini-season will look a little different than our regular season but we are very excited to have the opportunity to start practicing again!

• Teams will be limited to a max of 10 people (eg: 9 players and 1 coach):  Most likely these teams will be the previous age groups split into two teams, once coaches have a final number of registered players they will be able to make team lists.
• Cost for the 8 week season is $130.00 per player, registrations can be made on the Jasper Minor Sports webpage. 
• Should the season be cancelled (Again!) we will issue refunds to the extent possible.
• Physical distancing of 3m must be maintained at all times between players.  This includes during practice and while getting skates on. 
• Players must wear a mask before and after practice, the mask may be removed for training.
• Coaches must wear a mask at all times.
• Players must arrive dressed, there will be no access to dressing rooms.  Washrooms will be available. 
• No spectators will be allowed at practice.  

We are so excited to be able to get back on the ice!  Obviously these restrictions are much different than anything we have experienced previously.  It will be a new experience for everyone involved.  Please take the time to discuss the new restrictions with your kids prior to hockey starting so they know what to expect.
